As a Capture Artist, you will capture footage that will be used in marketing and promotional content for advertising and social media. A Capture Artist is a specialist in the game and the tools used to capture and save gameplay moments. You have knowledge of the franchise, the culture of FC and soccer in general, and an understanding of cinematic camera language.
Responsibilities
• Play FC and capture gameplay clips from the game for Marketing and social media use.
• You will achieve the best results while working within the confines of unfinished technology.
• Communicate any issues with leads to determine the best way to adjust capture to achieve the visual goal for the asset.
• You will archive and manage assets.
• You will plan and complete small to medium size projects and coordinate captures with 1-2 additional capture artists to accomplish shots.
• Work with Leads & Supervisors to create and organize trackers across multiple projects.
• You will communicate with leads & supervisors and production partners on project status.
Requirements
• Experienced gamer with a specialty in EAFC
• Deep knowledge of both the EAFC franchise and soccer is a must
• Proficient in PC use and current generation video game consoles
• Team-oriented
• The ability to focus on multiple projects and tasks in group settings under high-pressure

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$67,000 - $92,700 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
