Join us at Electronic Arts (EA), where you will lead engineering teams building scalable, distributed, and AI-enabled solutions that power employee experiences across iconic franchises such as FC, Madden, Battlefield, and Apex Legends. Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering, you will drive engineering strategy and execution across a portfolio of collaboration tech and productivity platforms focused on reducing employee friction, increasing employee productivity, supporting AI enablement across the BUs, and delivering differentiated VIP(Exec) experiences.

This role requires a leader with strong technical depth, operational rigor, and business alignment who can guide distributed teams in delivering modern, reliable solutions at scale. You will shape the future of employee experiences by promoting innovation, advancing technical excellence, and partnering closely across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver applications and platforms that connect millions of players worldwide and support EA's mission to inspire the world to play.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead distributed engineering teams in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions with strong operational performance and predictable execution.
• Translate business, product, and partner priorities into clear engineering plans, balancing near-term commitments with longer-term product, platform, and organizational goals.
• Guide the technical direction for employee-facing products and shared platforms, ensuring solutions are modern, secure, scalable, and aligned to business needs.
• Drive AI-enabled experiences that reduce employee friction, improve employee productivity, and increase employee efficiency through smarter support tools and workflows.
• Drive the adoption of Agentic AI capabilities to enable intelligent automation, proactive workflows, and personalized employee support experiences.
• Deliver differentiated user experiences through modern technology solutions, including capabilities tailored for Execs and shared platform investments that support multiple EA franchises.
• Build strong partnerships with business-facing, cross-functional, and partner teams to align engineering work with strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Establish effective operating models across teams with clear ownership, strong communication, sound decision-making, and accountability.
• Improve engineering effectiveness through better processes, tooling, modern development practices, and practical adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle.
• Lead and develop managers and engineers while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Use metrics, operational insights, and business context to improve delivery performance, system reliability, team health, and overall impact.

Required Qualifications:
• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including leadership roles with responsibility for growing and scaling engineering teams and organizations.
• Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional teams to deliver complex products, platforms, and business-critical technology initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with external partners and leading teams in distributed development models.
• Deep experience architecting, developing, and operating large-scale production systems using modern technologies, supporting consumer applications and services.
• Practical experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI systems, including applying AI to improve employee workflows, automation, or productivity.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
