Team Overview

Infrastructure & Platform Services (IPS)

Infrastructure & Platform Services builds and runs the technology foundation for EA's games. Our teams deliver the live services and backend infrastructure that are used to ship, scale, and operate secure, reliable game experiences for millions of players worldwide.

Data & Insights (D&I)

The Data & Insights (D&I) team transforms data into actionable insights that power EA. We guide strategy and governance, build data and AI solutions, and ensure personalization experimentation and analytics; partnering across teams to improve decisions and create more meaningful player experiences.

The Challenge Ahead:

IPS provides you the foundation for all of EA's incredible games and player experiences with high-level platforms like Commerce, Marketplace, AI, Gameplay Services, Identity and Social. The platform demands high availability at millions of transactions per minute level. As a software engineer, you will build and grow the platform at scale, solve technical challenges at global scale with us, and empower live games and player experiences with us.

While the AdTech in D&I team is developing top solutions for Ads management systems. Growth in the Ads business requires a stable, scalable platform for multiple workflows like supply/demand, network connection, creative processes, inventory, bidding, optimization, data, tracking, and reporting. As a software engineer, you will report to the Technical Director. You'll apply your education, learn from experts, and help enhance EA's AdTech and platform engineering.

You will work Hybrid in Shanghai.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or relevant experience.
• Ability to work in English
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in software development practices, including writing clean, reusable code, and basic understanding of test-driven development and continuous integration.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++ or Python.
• Familiarity with back-end development frameworks and technologies (e.g., Spring Boot).
