THE ROLE

As the Inventory Control Specialist, the role requires you to maintain accurate data pertaining to Insomniac's warehouse inventory. This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory data, ensuring items are added into the inventory properly, and implementing efficient control procedures; this is crucial in ensuring that the inventory valuation remains precise across all the company's departments and locations. You will work in close collaboration with the Inventory Control Manager, and Admin to ensure seamless communication and efficient management of all inventory-related matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure any and all items are added into the R2 inventory system.
• Review items to make sure they are properly tagged with legible bar codes and replace as needed to ensure everything is properly tracked.
• Run Inventory audits as requested per Inventory Manager.
• Make sure all items are located properly

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Inventory experience required.
• Warehouse experience required.
• Must be forklift certified. One year experience required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft, Mac, and Google operating systems.
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently.
• Must have exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting
• Visual Acuity - Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details
