Job Description
THE JOB

Shoreline Amphitheatre is seeking an Ancillary (Lawn Chair) Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Lawn Chair Crew during show days, ensuring efficient operations, excellent customer service, and proper inventory management of lawn chairs. This role works closely with the Ancillary Manager and may assist with broader ancillary operations as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced event environment.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Supervise and coordinate the Lawn Chair Crew during show days
• Provide excellent customer service by answering guest questions and resolving minor issues promptly
• Oversee the distribution, collection, and organization of lawn chairs throughout the venue
• Assist the Ancillary Manager with the setup, operation, and breakdown of ancillary areas (lawn chair rentals, signage, equipment)
• Handle sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems or handheld devices
• Ensure work areas are organized, clean, and fully stocked throughout the event
• Communicate effectively with the Ancillary Manager and other departments to support event operations
• Oversee post-show chair cleanup, including directing staff and ensuring all chairs are properly collected and stored
• Coordinate team rest & lunch periods in accordance with state and local law and ensure coverage.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Position requires constant walking and standing in an outdoor environment and lifting/carrying 25+ pounds
• High school diploma/GED preferred

The expected compensation for this position is:
$20.00 USD - $25.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
