Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Processes all in-coming and out-going mail for the New York office; responsible for regulation of postage meters; supervises United Parcel Services.

• Responsible for monitoring departmental stock and supplies; maintains ledger for all departmental supplies ordered and received; maintains inventory log of departmental supplies.
• Interacts with paper, product and supplies vendors, maintaining records of
• order status and impending calls.
• Responsible for daily setup of conference rooms for meetings and special events which includes breaking down and setting up of boardroom tables.
• Responsible for daily replenishing of supplies for the kitchen and pantry areas.
• Oversees and assists in installation and repairs of shelving units, bookcases cabinets, etc.
• Oversees the lighting maintenance for the entire office.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Demonstrated ability to respond promptly, thoughtfully and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities and new situations.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with peers, management and other departments in a professional manner.
• Must be computer proficient (MS Office Suite, UPS-online, FedEx online).
• Excellent organizational skills in order to efficiently expedite multi-faceted work load with high degree of accuracy.
• Extensive trouble-shooting and problem solving experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. • Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds both internally and externally.
• Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG AFTRA members.
• Hold yourself and others accountable for a high level of performance and integrity.
• Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
• Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
• Proven proficiency with a highly detail-oriented workload regarding account reconciliation.
• Ability to lift 30-40 pounds is required.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as is determined at SAG-AFTRA's sole discretion.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non- exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma and 1 to 2 years prior applicable experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
