Rocksteady Studios is an award-winning, critically acclaimed video game developer. Founded in 2004, we are home to the widely celebrated Batman: Arkham series of games. Rocksteady Studios is looking to add to its family of staff. We are looking for an exceptionally talented Associate Producer for the Engine & Tech teams who is ready for the challenge of producing an AAA title on console platforms & PC.
You will be responsible for supporting your teams scheduling and completion of deliverables for the game. You will be involved in all stages of the project, from preproduction to the completion of the finished product and will need to excel in managing both planned work (scheduling, QA planning etc.) as well as dealing with ad-hoc issues and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
• Team & Production Support: Support assigned teams by coordinating day‑to‑day production activities and delivering tasks assigned by the Senior Producer.
• Sprint & Milestone Management: Track sprint tasks, milestone deliverables, and bugs. Follow up on dependencies to ensure developers can deliver on time, escalating risks and issues to Leads and Senior Production.
• Build Management: Support the milestone build delivery, including coordination of developers for final bug fixes. Liaise with Producers during branch management to ensure fixes are reviewed and published correctly.
• Backlog Management: Work with Leads to maintain healthy sprint and milestone backlogs. Work with developers to confirm estimates, update tasks, and clarify deliverable descriptions.
• Task & Tracker Management: Ensure all new tasks are logged in the backlog in the required format in a timely manner and task tracking tools are being maintained and kept up to date.
• Milestone Documentation: Support Leads with milestone & release planning and documentation.
• QA Liaison: Partner with QA and the Senior Producer to ensure your team's deliverables are tested, test plans are scheduled appropriately, and requirements meetings are followed correctly.
• Deliverable Tracking: Monitor deliverable status with Leads and component owners, ensuring the review processes are being followed and reviews are being completed on time and to quality standards.
• Dependency Tracking: Support dependency planning with Leads and Producers, ensuring dependencies are captured and accounted for in schedules and in asset management tools.
• Meeting Support: Facilitate effective meetings with clear agendas, accurate minutes, and timely distribution of actions and decisions.
Skill Requirements
• AAA development experience, including hands‑on involvement in pre‑alpha production stages of development
• Experience contributing to and improving development processes. Creating and maintaining long‑term plans and dependency processes on complex game projects and identifying and resolving systemic production issues.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, dependencies, and long‑term plans in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining clear tracking and meeting deadlines.
• Confident using production and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Perforce (or similar), alongside strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and web‑based documentation tools.
• Passionate about game development, with an understanding of common development methodologies, change management, and continuous quality improvement.
• Programming or scripting experience is a bonus.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
