Your New Role:
This position exists to support, and lead Procure to Pay (PTP) workstreams of Warner Bros.
Discovery. This person will develop and deliver plans of action with the purpose of driving
successful outcomes and effective customer relationships resulting in improved Procure to Pay
processes and related working capital efforts. This role will have managerial responsibilities over a
direct team performing tasks including but not limited to procure to pay processes, Sox
compliance; dispute management, maintaining a robust controls environment and working closely
with offshore BPO/Captive operations.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONS
• Oversee end-to-end PTP service delivery including:
o Purchase order issuance
o Invoice processing
o Payments
o Training and user support
• Ensure team readiness and availability of resources for best-in-class PTP service delivery
• Ensure resources are adequately trained and processes meet:
• Regulatory requirements
• Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Deliver world class / proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders
while adhering to company policies and procedures
• Serve as escalation point for BPO/captive providing customer service support and general
PTP queries
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in PTP processes and technologies for non content
spend
• Support integration and onboarding of new acquisitions into Warner Bros. Discovery
processes and systems (operational execution aspect)
STRATEGY
• In partnership with PTP GPO, drive tangible improvement agenda
• Support procurement and PTP system changes, improvements, and optimizations
• Support creation of new company codes and new business projects
• Support acquisitions and integrations from a PTP process and systems perspective
• Influence and shape best practices across PTP processes and technologies
• Enable scalable PTP solutions aligned with business growth and acquisition
ANALYTICS / GOVERNANCE / CONTROL
• Ensure SOX compliance, including:
o Identification of control weaknesses
o Implementation of corrective actions
• Support statutory and internal audits
• Support SOX & internal control requirements
• Monitor and assess adherence to:
• Policies
• Internal controls
• Compliance standards
• Provide governance oversight on process effectiveness and control execution
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or CA Inter is preferred
• Fluent in English mandatory
• Minimum 10 years' working experience in a Global SSC/BPO
• Experience with project management and leadership
• Experience in Peoplesoft Financials and SAP is required
• Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint)
• Open to work in APAC/EMEA/US time zones
