Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, maintain and improve standardized reporting templates that form the backbone of Warner Chappell's market intelligence.
• Source and maintain available analytics data on partners and competitors.
• Complete construction of accounting data pipelines and finalize a single, granular source of financial truth for Warner Chappell's digital business around the world.
• Maintain, improve, and create analytics dashboards to highlight key trends and summarize performance for senior executives.
• Source, clean, and summarize data for ad hoc requests from the digital licensing team that occur during the course of license negotiations.
Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, business analytics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated success building clear data views from diverse, unstructured sources, preferably at an enterprise-level company.
• 1+ years working at a music company is preferred.
Hard skills
• Expertise in data warehousing and data pipelines (advanced SQL, schema and table structuring, ELT/ETL, data validation, etc.) is a must.
• Data transformation experience via Python, R, Java, etc. is preferred.
• Experience visualizing data and creating dashboards via Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Domo, etc. is preferred.
• Familiarity with data science techniques (linear and logistic regression, iterative model building, k-fold cross validation) is a plus.
• Excel familiarity is a plus.
Soft skills
• Willingness to engage with data ''beyond the numbers'': constant inclination to gut-check outputs, search for insights, and understand implications for partner platforms, Warner Chappell, and the broader music-tech ecosystem.
• Interest in proactively identifying recurring processes as automation opportunities.
• Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders in cross-functional environments.

This position requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration, which is essential for talent development and strong working relationships. #LI-Onsite Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 Annually Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
