Job Description
THE JOB

Live Nation is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Seasonal Line Cooks to join our backstage catering team at our vibrant amphitheater. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, unique environment, creating delicious meals for artists and crew. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of diverse, seasonally-inspired dishes for dressing room meals, hospitality riders, and bus stock. Ensure all meals adhere to strict dietary requirements and nutritional standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute daily menus and maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Foster teamwork and communication among kitchen staff.
• Sustainability Practices: Support the implementation of eco-friendly practices, including recycling, composting, and responsible ingredient sourcing. Aim for zero waste through effective preparation techniques.
• Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in inventory management and proper storage of ingredients.
• Adaptability: Be prepared to work long hours and handle the fast-paced demands of multiple shows each week during the busy season (late March through October). Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
• Food Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health regulations and safety standards. Current food handler's card is required.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role, preferably in catering or event settings.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler's Card
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for sustainability and local sourcing.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and maintain composure during busy service periods.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$14.40 USD - $18.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
