Who are we hiring?
The Network Architect Sphere designs the networks supporting Sphere Entertainment Co with a focus on new Spheres. This key technical position is accountable for defining and documenting architecture in accordance with engineering best practices and standards, leading mission critical network design efforts, and developing network automation solutions.
What will you do?
• Engage business partners and external vendors to define network requirements and design
• Leverage network analytics and anecdotal evidence to identify and remediate network inefficiencies in existing designs and enhance resiliency for future designs
• Partner with MSGE Network Engineers to define and document network standards
• Participate in MSGE Infrastructure Technical Review Board
• Document proposed Sphere architecture
What do you need to succeed?
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or computer engineering or applicable experience, i.e., 10+ years of enterprise network design and architecture experience
• 7+ years working with enterprise system platforms such as compute, storage, data centers and automation
• 3+ years designing connectivity to public cloud services providers
• Expertise in designing networks leveraging Precision Time Protocol (PTP)
• Expertise in designing network deployments leveraging BGP and EIGRP protocols
• Experience designing networks supporting Cisco Spaces
• Experience designing WiFi deployments supporting large spaces
• Experience using SolarWinds, Cisco ThousandEyes, PTP Trackhound
• Experience using Cisco Catalyst Center and Nexus Dashboard
• Able to document network designs and diagrams using Visio or Lucid Chart or similar tool
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

• Able to travel frequently
• Available to support work executed outside of a traditional work hours
